March 21^st, 2011

Present were Richard Weaver, Allison Lunsford, Mike Rape, Paul Adams, Carla Nestor. Also present were attorney Kent Lawrence, Zoning Administrator Christy Taylor and City Clerk Laurie Parks. Chairman Richard Weaver called the meeting to order.

Invocation was made by Mike Rape. Chairman Richard Weaver led the pledge of allegiance.

Paul Adams made the motion the approval the agenda, Mike Rape seconded, and by voice vote motion passed positive and unanimous.

Allison Lunsford made the motion the approval the minutes from the August 16^th, 2010 regular meeting, Paul Adams seconded, and by voice vote motion passed positive and unanimous.

Old Business: N/A

New Business: City Attorney Kent Lawrence stated guidelines for holding a public hearing.

Zoning Administrator Christy Taylor presented;

Case # 03(01)-2011 Linda H Fears of Jackson, GA is requesting a rezoning from AR – Agricultural-Residential to M-1 – Manufacturing and Light Industrial.  Said property is located on Highway 42 North and England Chapel Road, Jenkinsburg, GA, also listed at 633 England Chapel Road per tax records, in the Second District, Land Lot 129.

Motion was made by Allison Lunsford to table the case till the next meeting on April 18^th 2011, for further review, Mike Rape seconded, and by voice vote motion passed positive and unanimous.

Case # 03(02)-2011 Linda Fears of Jackson, GA is requesting a rezoning from AR- Agricultural-Residential to HB – Highway Business.  Said property is located at 2363 Highway 42 North, Jenkinsburg, GA in the Second District, Land Lot 129.

Motion was made by Mike Rape to approve the rezoning from AR-Agricultural –Residential to HB – Highway Business, seconded by Allison Lunsford, and by voice vote motion passed positive and unanimous.

Allison Lunsford made the motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Paul Adams and by voice vote motion passed positive and unanimous.
